Dermoscopy is a non-invasive imaging technique used by us to examine skin lesions and moles. It involves the use of a handheld device called a dermatoscope, which provides a magnified and illuminated view of the skin’s surface.
We perform thorough skin checks through various techniques such as Mole Photo Comparison, Dermoscopy, and minor surgical procedures to treat various skin lesions.

Understanding the importance of proactive skin health management, our clinic utilise advanced techniques such as mole photo comparison to monitor skin lesions effectively.
Mole photo comparison involves taking detailed photographs of suspicious skin spots and comparing them over time to detect any changes. This method is particularly beneficial when a spot is not yet ready for biopsy, appears irregular, or exceeds the criteria for a conventional shave biopsy.
Accurate diagnosis: If the mole remains stable, showing no significant changes compared to previous photos we can recommend continued monitoring at regular intervals. However, if there is a progression, we can recommend follow-up procedures such as shave biopsies, punch biopsies, or excision biopsies.

Do you have any interpreter services?
An Interpreter can be arranged for your appointment if required. Please inform our Receptionist when you are making your booking. Alternatively, you may request assistance from a family or relative.
Do you Bulk Bill?
Our clinics BULK BILL all patients that hold a current Medicare or DVA Card. For overseas students and those who do not have Medicare or DVA cards, please call our receptionists, who will be able to provide you with information about your options.
Do I need an appointment or referral?
No appointments are necessary, we take walk-ins.
What are your opening hours?
Good Health Medical Centre Garden City is open 8:30am-5pm Monday - Friday and 10am-2pm Sundays. Please note opening hours of other clinics may vary.
